Message from the Executive Director
2022 Teacher Membership and Summer Festival Student Registration are now closed. We look forward to hearing all entered students at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB in July!

Please Note

  • The Young Musicians’ category has been limited to Piano and Strings ONLY and to the Baroque and Early Classical concerto repertoire.
    • These winners will be scheduled to perform with a smaller chamber orchestra.
    • SYMF performers and audience members must follow all recommended Covid-19 guidelines and CSULB health protocols.
  • The Latin American Categories have been removed from both Piano OPEN and Piano QUALIFIED categories.
  • NEW: Memorization is OPTIONAL for Wind QUALIFIED categories.
  • NO WARM-UP ROOMS WILL BE AVAILABLE for the 2022 Summer Festival.
